I like to get style inspiration from movies. Vianne from Chocolat, Kathleen Kelly from You've Got Mail, Claire from Breakfast Club. When the movie Roxanne came out in 1987, I fell in love with Roxanne's style. I even got a chain to wear on my glasses. I did't care that they weren't reading glasses, I wore the chain because I thought it looked cool. I still love Roxanne's style today.
Lately, I have been inspired by style on Korean Dramas. Have you ever watched a Korean Drama? First, let me say this... if you have anything deep within you that needs to come out, watch a Korean Drama. Basically, it will make your soul barf.
Any emotion that you have held in the depths of your soul will be thrown up. The very contents of your soul forcefully spewed. You will feel some joy, some romance, some frustration, and... well... you might as well buy kleenex in bulk. I totally do the ugly cry when I watch K-Dramas. K-Dramas is short for Korean Drama. I think that's what the cool kids call them.
